Animation

For this project I will be working with the program Procreate Dreams, which is a new animation app for the iPad.

Here is a little gif animation I made on the app as a way to see how it works. I was testing to see if my cartoonish style could work in the form of an animation.

For the animation I want to focus on Cesare Borgia and the many crimes he committed.
I want to create an animation called "The many murders of Cesare Borgia"

For the animation I want to give it a simplified style the would be easy to work with

I've been looking into the artstyle of Sydney Collings (Symphony Sonata on instagram). I like the way she uses a simple aer style to convey dark themes through illustration and animation.

A test walking animation based of a walking animation reference, I then worked on the animation further to see how i could change it.

The finger

Here I was using my classmate as a reference for one of the actions I want to use within the animation projects. I traced over the key elements of the body to use as reference points for when I start the clean up process.

To show my clean up process here is the scene of Lucrezia picking off the severed finger. In this stage of the animation I am focusing on cresting the characters movements and expressions.
